Sharing Reports
Create report links that expire after 7, 30 or 90 days or never, copy, open or revoke them, and what people see when they open one.
A share link lets anyone open a report without signing in. The report is read-only, and the link can expire after 7, 30 or 90 days.
Create a link
Click "Share"
In an open report, or the share icon on its card in "My Reports". Only reports marked "ready" can be shared.
Choose when it expires
In the "Share Links" window: "No expiration" (the default), "Expires in 7 days", "Expires in 30 days" or "Expires in 90 days".
Click "Create Link"
The new link appears in the list below. Copy it and send it.
The "Share Links" window is in English in every language.
Manage links
A report can have several links, for example one per client with its own expiry. Each line shows:
| In the list | Meaning |
|---|---|
| The start of the link | So you can tell links apart. |
| The creation date and "Expires …" | When the link was made and when it stops working. |
| "Expired" | The link no longer opens. |
| Copy link, Open link, Revoke link | Copy the address, open it in a new tab, or switch it off at once. |
"Done" closes the window.
What the person sees
The link opens app.rankfender.com/shared-report/… with "Shared Report" and "This report has been shared with you" at the top, then the report as it looks in the app: cover, score cards and sections. The page has a "Visit Rankfender" button and "Powered by Rankfender" at the bottom. An expired link shows "Share link has expired"; a revoked one shows "Share link not found or expired".
Note
Scheduled report emails use a link that never expires. You find it in the same list and can revoke it there; see Scheduled Reports. To send a file instead of a link, use "Export as PDF" in the report.
