Next steps, site health and links

How Home picks your next steps after the first week, and what the Site health and Links cards measure.

"Next steps"

Once a project is past its first week, Home shows "Next steps" where "Your first week" was: "The one thing that moves your visibility most right now, then what comes after." Each item has an area (AI answers, Google, Site, Content or Setup), an estimated time and one button.

When there is nothing to do, the card says: "Nothing needs you right now. We'll put the next thing here."

"Site health"

Whether Google and AI can read your pages. The score ("Site health … out of 100") blends the SEO, GEO and AEO parts of the site audit; see Site Health overview.

  • A one-line reading: "Healthy", "Needs work" or "Pages are being missed".
  • What was audited, for example "Site-wide audit of 50 pages", and the change since the previous audit.
  • Issues by severity: "Critical", "Warnings", "Notices".
  • "Waiting to be fixed": open issues grouped, because many identical issues usually share one cause; "… fixes waiting" and "See the fixes".
  • If only one page has been checked so far, "Run a site-wide audit" checks the whole site.

Other sites that link to you. The more trusted they are, the more search engines and AI trust you.

  • "Sites linking to you", "Links", "Authority", "New sites" and "Lost sites" since the last measurement.
  • "Top linking sites", and "You and your competitors": sites linking to each.
  • "See all" opens the full list. Until the first measurement: "Collecting your link profile… This card fills in by itself."
