Rankfender 2.3

15 October 2026

New

  • Competitor Intelligence. A dedicated hub with six views over one measured picture: market overview, keyword gaps, top pages, backlinks, AI visibility and company profiles, with each competitor's logo. Read more
  • Editorial-grade content. Articles are written from source evidence and cited to real pages. A truth layer screens out invented quotes, statistics and claims. Answer-first sections, key takeaways, a localized FAQ, a sources list and a full schema graph. A publish gate holds back anything that fails review. The writing model scales with the plan.
  • Site Health, measured. One Site Health score across SEO, GEO and AEO, the stored history of every audit, and fixes confirmed page by page. Whole-site checks (orphan pages, depth, duplicate titles, broken links) run after the crawl.
  • Keyword opportunities from your site. Rankfender reads your pages, measures real search demand and keeps the searches most likely to bring you customers. Searches stamped with a past year are dropped.
  • Precise AI visibility. Brand mentions are matched on your full brand name and its aliases, never on single words.
  • Team tasks and calendar (Professional and up). Planning holds the task board and the editorial calendar. Assign any task to a team member or an outside collaborator by email, with reminders.
  • Usage credits. Every plan includes monthly credits, shown live in the top bar, and pay-as-you-go packs cover extra work. Billing runs on Revolut in EUR and USD, monthly or yearly, with payment history and PDF receipts. Read more
  • Version updates. When a new version is out, open tabs show "A new version of Rankfender is available" with "Refresh now".

Improved

  • AI Visibility: questions are mostly unbranded, with a "Names you" filter. Checks run weekly by default, every 2 days on Professional and daily on Business and Agencies. The Summary shows sources, tone, topic, stage and assistant status. With fewer than 10 answers, counts replace percentages.
  • Home: Site health appears at once, next steps follow your real data, cards can be pinned side by side, and every help tip explains the metric and links to these docs.
  • Onboarding: one live screen shows your site, what Rankfender does with it and the plan. New projects get a guided first week with nothing to connect. Setup uses your real logo and colours and runs the first site audit.
  • Assistant: reads your project's own data (organic overview, AI visibility, competitors, backlinks, credits, site audit), starts an article, an audit or an AI check after you confirm, and shares reports by link. Its sidebar folds away with ⌘B / Ctrl B.
  • Articles can be copied or downloaded as Markdown.

Fixed

  • Setup did not start after payment for projects created with the new wizard.
  • Adding keywords from the Assistant failed every time.
  • The competitor finder in onboarding did not save competitors.
  • Dialogs and help tips could appear behind other elements; notifications were transparent.

Rankfender 2.2.1

October 2026

New

  • Redesigned app. One sidebar, one page bar per section (tabs on the left, actions on the right), a wider content area, new type and a rebuilt dark mode.
  • Page search with ⌘K / Ctrl K. Jump to any page you can open. The Assistant's "focus the chat" shortcut moved to ⌘J / Ctrl J.
  • Traffic page (formerly Performance) with Overview, Search, Visitors and Health tabs. Six more views are marked coming soon.
  • Keywords table. Compact rows, icon actions, rename a keyword in place (Enter saves, Esc cancels), and click a keyword to open its details under the row.
  • Keyword panel. Volume, difficulty, position, CPC and opportunity beside the keyword; Search Console data and secondary keywords on the left, AI content ideas on the right. "New ideas" refreshes them and "Generate" starts the article.
  • Backlinks (link building plans). Domain authority with its monthly movement, a before/after audit for each plan month as PDF or CSV, and each placement checked for a followed link, nofollow link, redirect or unlinked mention.

Improved

  • AI Visibility, Keywords and Traffic are three separate menu entries.
  • The Assistant reads your project's real data, renders tables properly and uses a wider reading column.
  • Articles are checked for language before they can pass quality review, and autopilot only publishes articles that pass both checks.
  • Article research keeps working when one search data source is unavailable, and says when an outline was built from limited data.
  • The project card in the sidebar shows your role (Admin, Editor or Viewer).

Fixed

  • "Manage plan" and "Upgrade" in Settings did not open the plans window.
  • "Generate plan" in Content and "Schedule article" in the content history did not open.
  • More than 20 buttons were invisible, including Run audit, Add to Planning and Save changes.
  • In dark mode, the backdrop behind dialogs turned white and several chips were unreadable.
  • Home charts drew nothing on smaller screens.
  • Accepting a team invitation did not wait for your session to load.
  • The article research panel could spin forever instead of reporting a failure.
  • Backlink audit PDFs could include a blank page.
  • Sales and support e-mail links pointed to an old address.
