AI answers
How often AI assistants name each competitor, by assistant, the questions where they are named and you are not, and head to head.
AI answers shows who AI assistants name when your buyers ask your project's questions: you or your competitors. It reads the answers your AI checks already collected, so it never measures and costs no credits. Questions that already contain your brand are left out, so they cannot flatter the comparison.

Note
Rankfender asks up to 8 AI assistants: ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity, DeepSeek, Grok, Llama and Mistral. How many depends on your plan (Essential 5, Professional 7, Business and Agencies all 8) and on the assistants you select in "Monitoring Settings". Perplexity answers with live web sources.
The four figures
The line above them says how many answers and assistants are counted, for example "Over 240 answers from 5 AI assistants".
- "AI names you in": the share of answers that name you, with "N of N answers".
- "Most-named competitor": the competitor named in the most answers, with its share.
- "Questions they win": questions where an answer names a competitor and not you. "you alone: N" counts the answers that name you and no competitor.
- "Assistants that never name you": the assistants that answered but never named you, or "every assistant names you at least once".
Named in AI answers, and head to head
One bar per site: the share of answers that name it, across every assistant. Several sites can be named in one answer, so the figures don't add up to 100 %. Under each competitor, "Head to head: you alone N · them alone N · both N" counts the answers that name only you, only them, or both of you.
By AI assistant
A grid with one row per site and one column per assistant. Darker means that assistant names the site more often. Hover a cell to read, for example, "ChatGPT names … in N of N answers". Use it to see which assistant favours which competitor.
Questions where AI names them, not you
Each line is a question your buyers ask, with the competitors named and the assistants that named them. Pick one competitor in the filter, or keep "All competitors". A page that answers the question well is how you get named. For ready-made article ideas from these questions, see Content ideas Professional and up.
Pages AI reads when it names them
The sites AI assistants cite in the answers where a competitor is named and you aren't, with "cited N×". Getting mentioned on these sites is the most direct way into those answers.
No answers yet
Before your first AI check, the view says "No AI answers collected yet" with an "Open AI Visibility" button. An AI check asks your questions to the assistants and typically costs about 25 credits; see Running AI checks.
Note
The figures here are shares of answers. AI Visibility › Competitors shows share of voice, which divides one brand's mentions by the mentions of every brand, so the two numbers differ. See Competitors in AI answers. The old Settings › Competitors › Head to head page is now this view.
