Monthly credits
Credits included each month on every plan, what common actions cost, the credits chip, and what happens when credits run out.
Every plan includes credits each month. Credits pay for the work that costs Rankfender money: "AI visibility checks, content generation, keyword, competitor, backlink and traffic data, images and the agent. Data already fetched is free to view again." You see your balance live in the top bar.
Credits included each month
| Plan | Credits a month |
|---|---|
| Essential | 1,000 |
| Professional | 2,000 |
| Business | 5,000 |
| Agencies | 50,000 |
| Pay as you go | None: you buy packs |
What things cost
Typical amounts, measured on real projects. The exact number depends on the work, and the chip shows what was really used.
| Action | About |
|---|---|
| Set up a project (site, Google, competitors, first AI check) | 80 credits |
| AI check: 15 buyer questions | 25 credits |
| Write an article | 30 credits |
| Keyword research (one search) | 4 credits |
| Competitor comparison with 12-month curves | 120 credits |
| Refresh your Google picture | 9 credits |
Assistant chat messages also use credits, as does any job you confirm in the chat.
The credits chip
The chip at the top right shows the credits you have left, for example "1,240 credits". It turns amber when less than 10 % of your monthly credits remain, and red at 0. Click it to see:
- "This month's plan credits": a bar with "… of … used", and "Renews on" with the date your plan credits restart.
- "Extra credits": credits you bought in packs.
- "Top up": three packs to buy more (see Pay as you go).
Which credits are used first
- Your plan credits for the month.
- Then your extra credits.
Plan credits restart on the first day of each month; unused ones do not carry over. Extra credits never expire.
When credits run out
The chip reads 0 in red. "New AI checks, content and data wait until you top up or your credits renew. Everything already saved stays visible." Nothing is deleted, and you can top up at any time from the chip.
Note
The Assistant's "Usage & billing" page shows euro amounts from its own run log, not your credits. The chip is the balance that counts: Assistant usage.
