Backlinks overview
Your link profile, and done-for-you link building on Business and Agencies.
The Backlinks page shows which other websites link to yours, on every plan. On Business and Agencies it is also where done-for-you link building runs: you set a monthly budget, Rankfender drafts a phased plan, our team places the links, each link is checked on the live page, and every month gets a before/after audit.

Your link profile
"The other websites that link to yours. Links from trusted sites help you rank on Google and get named by AI assistants." The first time you open the page you see "Collecting your link profile…": it takes about a minute and the page fills in on its own. The profile is then kept, with "Measured" and the date under the figures.

| "Authority" (out of 100) | How much search engines trust your site, based on who links to it. |
| "New and lost" | "New sites", "Lost sites" and "New links" since the previous measurement. The first time it shows the last 30 days; lost links appear from the next measurement. |
| "Top sites linking to you" | The most trusted websites that link to you, with their authority and number of links. "One link from a strong site is worth many from weak ones." |
| "You and your competitors" | Sites linking and authority for you and up to 5 of your competitors, measured the same way. |
No links yet? The page says so plainly: "No website links to yours yet. That's normal for a new site, and it's exactly what link building fixes." If the profile could not be read, "Your link profile isn't ready yet" comes with "Try again".
Where the numbers come from
Your link profile is read from an independent index of links across the web, which re-crawls sites continuously. Authority is that index's 0–1,000 rank, shown out of 100. The figures can differ from the links report in Google Search Console, and a new link can take a while to show up in the index.

Draft a plan
In "Plan", pick a monthly budget and 6 or 12 months, then "Build my plan". See Link building plan.
Review the sites
Each month lists the sites chosen for it. Approve or reject them, or add others from Sites.
Activate
"Save plan" keeps a draft. Nothing is ordered until you click "Activate" and start the monthly subscription.
Follow the results
Links go live month by month, are checked on the live page, and each month gets a before/after audit in PDF or CSV. See My links.

The plan is drafted by Rankfender from your budget, but every link is chosen, ordered and checked by the Rankfender team. Nothing is ordered until you activate the monthly subscription.
