Create your project
The two setup steps (your website, your plan), pay-as-you-go, and what happens on the finish screen.
Before you start
- You need your website address. Nothing else: no Google account, no plugin, no code.
- Use a computer. On a phone, Rankfender shows "Desktop Browser Required" and offers to send you the link.
Setup has two steps, "Your website" and "Choose your plan", then a finish screen. It takes a few minutes.
Step 1: "Your website"
Type your website. Rankfender reads it while you watch and fills in what it found. Fix anything that is wrong here: every keyword, AI question and article is built on it.

Next to the form, "What Rankfender is doing for …" shows each step live, with what it found and how long it took: reading your website, measuring your visits from Google, looking for your competitors, understanding your business, and the searches you already appear for.
Step 2: "Choose your plan"
Choose "Monthly" or "Yearly" (yearly costs about 17 % less), then a plan. Each card says what the plan covers for your site; "See what's included" lists every feature. You can change plan later.

"Continue to checkout" opens the payment page inside Rankfender (card, or Apple Pay and Google Pay where your browser supports them). The screen says: "Billed today at the price above, then every month or year. Cancel anytime in Settings."
Pay as you go
Below the plans, "Pay as you go — no subscription" lets you buy credits and pay only for what you use. You get Essential features for 1 project, and credits never expire. Pick a pack, then "Buy credits".

When credits run out, paid actions pause until you top up. Your data stays.
The finish screen
The screen says "… is being set up" and lists what happens next. Setup runs on its own and takes about 5 minutes:
- Right now, Rankfender reads your site and finds its keywords, competitors and buyer questions.
- A few minutes later, the first AI answers show whether assistants mention your brand.
- Then, on Home, "Your first week" shows what to do next, step by step.
Home opens by itself after a few seconds. "Stay here" keeps the live list on screen; "Open Home now" skips the wait. You don't need to wait: each part appears on Home as soon as it's ready. Rankfender also offers "Take a 1-minute tour"; "Not now" skips it.

Next: Your first week.
If you leave before the end
When you come back, Rankfender shows "Welcome back. Let's finish setting up …" with what you already entered. A project that was created but never set up shows "Finish setting up …" with "Start setup".
Adding another project later
On "Projects", "Add new project" opens the "Your website" step only, because your plan is already chosen. Setting up a project uses about 80 credits. See Projects and multi-language brands.
