Projects
A project in Rankfender represents a single brand, website, or content initiative. Each project operates independently with its own:
- Brand Book configuration
- Content library and autopilot settings
- Keyword tracking and opportunities
- AI visibility monitoring
- Integration connections
- Usage counters
Project Limits by Plan
The number of projects you can create depends on your subscription plan:
- Essential: 1 project
- Professional: 3 projects
- Agencies: 10 projects
- Enterprise: Unlimited projects
Workspaces
Workspaces are the top-level organizational unit in Rankfender. Think of them as folders that contain multiple projects. Workspaces are perfect for:
- Agencies: One workspace per client, with multiple projects per client
- Brands: Separate personal and business projects
- Teams: Organize by department or product line
Switching Between Workspaces
Use the workspace switcher in the top-right corner of the dashboard to move between workspaces. Your current workspace context determines which projects and team members you see.
Usage Limits
Each plan includes specific usage limits across various features. These limits reset monthly and are tracked at the project level.
Content Generation Limits
- Articles per month: Varies by plan (10-500+ articles)
- Words per article: Up to 2,500 words on Professional+
- Image generation: Included credits per article
Keyword Tracking Limits
- Tracked keywords: Plan-dependent (50-5,000+)
- Keyword research: Unlimited searches on all plans
- Rank updates: Daily for Professional+, weekly for Essential
AI Visibility Limits
- Active prompts: 10-500+ depending on plan
- Response checks: Daily on Professional+
- Historical data: 3-12 months retention
Fair Usage Policy
While we provide generous limits, we expect reasonable use. Our fair usage policy prevents:
- Excessive API requests (rate limiting applies)
- Bulk content generation for spam purposes
- Account sharing or reselling access
- Attempting to reverse-engineer our AI models

Upgrading Your Plan
Need more projects or higher limits? Upgrade your plan anytime from the Billing section. Upgrades take effect immediately, and you'll be prorated for any remaining time in your current billing period.
