Switching Templates
How to switch between Standard and RAISA AI dashboard templates.
How to Switch Templates
Switching between the Standard and RAISA AI dashboard templates is a straightforward process that can be done at any time directly from the dashboard. Follow these steps:
- Navigate to your project dashboard.
- Locate the template switcher icon in the top-right corner of the dashboard. The icon resembles two overlapping squares and is positioned next to the last-updated timestamp.
- Click the icon to open the template selector dropdown.
- Choose between Standard and RAISA AI from the available options.
- The dashboard immediately reloads with the selected template. There is no confirmation dialog or additional step required.
Template Preference Behavior
Your template preference is managed on a per-project basis. This means you can use the Standard template for one project while using the RAISA AI template for another. The preference is saved automatically as soon as you make a selection and persists across sessions, so the next time you return to the project, your chosen template will be loaded by default.
Template preferences are also individual to each user. If you are working on a project with other team members, each person sees their own preferred template. Switching your template does not affect what other team members see on their dashboards. This allows each person to use the view that best fits their workflow without impacting the rest of the team.
Setting the Default Template
In addition to switching templates directly from the dashboard, you can set the default template for a project through the project settings. This is useful when you want to ensure a specific template is loaded from the start without needing to switch manually.
- Navigate to Project Settings from the sidebar or the settings gear icon.
- Scroll to the Dashboard section, or select Dashboard Templates from the settings sidebar.
- Under Default Template, select either Standard or RAISA AI.
- Click Save to apply the change.
The default template setting applies only to your account for the selected project. Other team members retain their own default template preferences.

Switching Is Instant
Template switching happens immediately with no data loss, loading delay, or page navigation. When you select a new template, the dashboard re-renders in place using the data already loaded in memory. You do not need to wait for a fresh data fetch, and any filters or time range selections you had active are preserved where applicable.
Frequently Asked Questions
Will I lose any data when switching templates?
No. Both templates use the same underlying data. Switching between them is purely a presentation change. No data is created, modified, or deleted during a template switch.
Does switching my template affect other team members?
No. Template preferences are individual. Each team member selects and saves their own preferred template independently. Your choice has no impact on what others see.
What template do new projects use by default?
New projects default to the Standard Dashboard template. You can change this immediately after creating a project either by using the template switcher on the dashboard or by updating the default in Project Settings.
Can I switch back after choosing a template?
Yes. You can switch between templates as many times as you want. There is no limit or cooldown on template switching. Simply click the template switcher icon and select the other option.
