Organic Performance Tracking
The Organic Performance section shows how your tracked keywords perform in traditional search engines. Monitor ranking changes, impressions, clicks, and trends over time.
Key Metrics
- Position: Current search ranking for each keyword
- Position Change: Movement compared to previous period
- Impressions: How often your pages appear in search results
- Clicks: Traffic driven from search
- CTR: Click-through rate from search results
How Tracking Works
Rankfender tracks keyword positions daily. Data sources include:
- Google Search Console integration (most accurate)
- Rankfender's own position tracking engine
- Historical trend data stored from the first day of tracking
Dashboard Views
- Table View: All keywords with current metrics in sortable columns
- Trend View: Position charts over time for selected keywords
- Distribution: Keyword position distribution (Top 3, Top 10, Top 20, etc.)
Ranking Alerts
Set up alerts for significant ranking changes:
- Keyword enters or exits the top 10
- Position drops by more than 5 places
- New keyword appears in rankings
Correlating with Content
Each keyword links to its associated content, allowing you to see which articles drive rankings and identify optimization opportunities.
