How Sharing Works

Rankfender lets you share any generated article with stakeholders, clients, or team members who do not have a Rankfender account. Sharing uses secure, token-based links that grant read-only access to the article without requiring the recipient to log in.

To share an article, open it from your content list and click the "Share" button. A unique share link is automatically generated with the format: yourdomain/article/{token}. You can copy this link to your clipboard or share it directly to X/Twitter, LinkedIn, or Facebook using the built-in social sharing buttons.

Link Expiration

Share links support an optional expiration date. When creating or editing a share link, you can set a specific date after which the link will no longer grant access to the article. This is useful for time-sensitive content reviews, client approvals with deadlines, or when you want to ensure shared content is only accessible for a limited window.

Managing Share Links

You can view all active share links for any article from the article's detail page. Each share link entry displays its creation date, expiration date (if set), and a direct link you can copy.

To revoke access to a shared article, simply delete the share link. Once deleted, anyone who attempts to visit the link will no longer be able to view the article. This gives you full control over who can see your content and for how long.
