Concurrerende prompts
Test hoe AI-systemen jouw merk vergelijken met specifieke concurrenten.
What Are Competitive Prompts?
Competitive Prompts are specialized AI queries designed to test how AI systems position your brand when directly compared against specific competitors. They simulate the kinds of head-to-head questions real users ask AI platforms when evaluating solutions, giving you clear visibility into where you win and where you lose.
9 Battleground Types
Each Competitive Prompt is built around one of nine battleground types, reflecting the different angles from which users compare products and services:
- Feature: Compares specific feature sets between your brand and a competitor.
- Price: Asks AI systems to evaluate pricing, value for money, and cost-effectiveness.
- Use Case: Tests which brand the AI recommends for a particular use case or workflow.
- Industry: Compares brands within a specific industry vertical or niche market.
- Size: Evaluates which brand is more suitable for different company sizes (startup, SMB, enterprise).
- Migration: Asks about switching from one brand to another, testing how AI frames the transition.
- Alternative: Prompts AI to suggest alternatives to your competitor, testing whether your brand surfaces.
- Superiority: Directly asks which brand is better, forcing the AI to take a position.
- Niche: Targets highly specific scenarios where specialized expertise matters most.
5 Competitive Angles
Each prompt is further shaped by one of five competitive angles that define how your brand is positioned relative to the competitor:
- Leader: Positions your brand as the established market leader with proven track record.
- Challenger: Frames your brand as the ambitious contender disrupting the incumbent.
- Niche Specialist: Emphasizes deep expertise in a narrow domain where generalists fall short.
- Disruptor: Highlights innovative approaches that fundamentally change how things are done.
- Value: Focuses on delivering superior results at a more accessible price point.
3 Positioning Strengths
The tone of each prompt is controlled by one of three positioning strengths:
- Assertive: Confident, direct language that clearly states advantages.
- Balanced: Neutral framing that lets the AI weigh pros and cons fairly.
- Humble: Understated positioning that avoids aggressive claims.
Funnel Mapping
Competitive Prompts map to different stages of the marketing funnel, helping you understand where in the buyer journey AI systems favor or overlook your brand:
- TOFU (Top of Funnel / Awareness): Niche prompts that test whether AI surfaces your brand during early research and discovery.
- MOFU (Middle of Funnel / Consideration): Feature, Use Case, Industry, Size, and Alternative prompts that simulate active evaluation and comparison.
- BOFU (Bottom of Funnel / Decision): Price, Migration, and Superiority prompts that reflect the final purchase decision moment.
Generation and Customization
Competitive Prompts are auto-generated from templates based on your brand profile, tracked competitors, and selected topics. The generation engine combines battleground types, competitive angles, and positioning strengths to create a comprehensive set of comparison queries.
While the default set covers the most important scenarios, you can fully customize prompts: edit the wording, change the battleground type, adjust the competitive angle, or create entirely new prompts from scratch.
Results and Insights
During every RAIVE scan, Competitive Prompts are sent to all monitored AI systems alongside your other prompts. The results reveal head-to-head win/loss rates for each competitor, broken down by battleground type and AI platform. This allows you to identify which competitors you consistently beat, which scenarios need improvement, and which AI platforms may be biased toward or against your brand.
