Monitoring Settings
Configure which AI systems to monitor and how they are tracked.
Per-Project Settings
Monitoring settings are configured on a per-project basis, giving you full control over which AI models are tracked for each brand or product you manage. From the Monitoring Settings panel, you can toggle individual AI models on or off depending on which platforms are most relevant to your audience.
Each AI model entry displays its current status, the total number of responses collected, and a toggle to enable or disable monitoring:
- Status: Shows one of three states --
good(the model consistently mentions your brand),needs_work(mentions are infrequent or poorly positioned), ornot_analyzed(monitoring is disabled or no data has been collected yet). - Response Count: The total number of responses collected from this AI model across all RAIVE scans.
- Monitoring Toggle: Enable or disable tracking for this specific model. Disabled models are skipped during RAIVE scans, reducing scan time and focusing your analysis on the platforms that matter most.
Scan Frequency by Plan
The frequency at which RAIVE scans can be triggered depends on your subscription plan. Higher-tier plans allow more frequent monitoring, ensuring your visibility data stays current as AI systems update their models and knowledge bases:
- Essential: Weekly scans
- Professional: Every 2 days
- Agencies: Daily scans
- Enterprise: Daily with near-real-time monitoring capabilities
Supported AI Models
Rankfender monitors seven major AI systems, covering the platforms most commonly used by consumers and professionals to find recommendations and answers:
| Model | Provider |
|---|---|
| ChatGPT | OpenAI (GPT-4o-mini) |
| Perplexity | Perplexity AI (Llama Sonar) |
| Gemini | Google (Gemini Pro) |
| Claude | Anthropic (Claude 3 Haiku) |
| DeepSeek | DeepSeek |
| Grok | xAI |
| Llama | Meta |
Best Practices
For the most comprehensive visibility picture, keep all seven models enabled. However, if you need to focus your analysis or reduce scan times, prioritize the platforms your target audience uses most. ChatGPT and Perplexity tend to be the highest-traffic AI platforms for product and service recommendations, making them a strong baseline for any monitoring configuration.
