Content Generation Issues
Content stuck in "Generating" status
If an article has been generating for more than 10 minutes:
- Refresh the page
- Check the Activity Feed for error details
- If still stuck, click the article and select "Retry Generation"
- If the issue persists, contact support
Generated content doesn't match brand voice
- Review and update your Brand Book settings
- Make sure Brand Voice settings are configured (tone, style, vocabulary)
- Add preferred and avoided terms
- Regenerate the article after making changes
Integration Issues
WordPress sync fails
- Verify the Rankfender WordPress plugin is installed and activated
- Check that the API key in the plugin matches your Rankfender settings
- Ensure your WordPress site is accessible from the internet
- Check for WordPress plugin conflicts
Webhook not receiving data
- Verify the webhook URL is correct and accessible
- Check the Activity Feed for delivery status and error codes
- Ensure your endpoint returns a 2xx response
- Verify the
x-rankfender-keyheader matches your secret - Check server logs for errors
Account Issues
Can't log in
- Use the "Forgot Password" link to reset your password
- Check if your account email is correct
- Clear browser cookies and try again
- Try a different browser
Projects not showing
- Make sure you're in the correct workspace
- Check the workspace switcher in the top-left corner
- If invited by someone, verify the invitation was accepted
Performance Issues
Dashboard loading slowly
- Check your internet connection
- Clear browser cache
- Disable browser extensions that might interfere
- Try a different browser
