What are Personas?
Personas represent your ideal readers or customers. By defining personas, you tell the AI exactly who it's writing for, resulting in more targeted and effective content.
Creating a Persona
- Go to Project Settings → Personas
- Click "Create Persona"
- Fill in the persona details
- Save and assign it to content generation rules
Persona Fields
- Name: A descriptive name (e.g., "Marketing Manager Sarah")
- Role/Title: Their job title or role
- Industry: The industry they work in
- Goals: What they're trying to achieve
- Pain Points: Challenges they face
- Expertise Level: Beginner, intermediate, or expert
- Preferred Content Format: How-to guides, comparisons, deep dives, etc.
How Personas are Used
When generating content, you can assign a persona. The AI will:
- Adjust vocabulary and complexity to match the persona's expertise
- Address the persona's specific pain points and goals
- Use relevant examples from the persona's industry
- Frame solutions around the persona's decision-making criteria
Tips
- Start with 2-3 core personas representing your main audience segments
- Base personas on real customer data, not assumptions
- Update personas as you learn more about your audience
