What Are Credits?

Credits are the internal currency that powers Rankfender's backlink Network. They represent the value exchanged between participants in the content exchange ecosystem. Instead of paying cash for every backlink placement, you earn credits by contributing to the network as a publisher and spend credits to acquire backlinks from other participants. This system creates a fair, balanced economy where the value of contributions and rewards are proportional to site quality.

Earning Credits

There are several ways to earn credits within the Rankfender Network. The primary method is publishing guest content on your registered sites, but additional earning opportunities reward active and engaged participants.

Earning Through Publishing

Every time you accept and publish a guest post from another Network participant on one of your registered sites, you earn credits. The number of credits earned depends on the quality tier of your site, which is determined by its Domain Authority:

Earning Through Referrals

You can earn bonus credits by referring new publishers to the Network. When a publisher you referred registers a site, passes the quality review, and completes their first content exchange, you will receive a one-time referral bonus. The referral bonus is equal to the credit value of the referred site's tier: 1 credit for Bronze, 3 for Silver, 7 for Gold, and 15 for Platinum. There is no limit to the number of referrals you can make.

Earning Through High Acceptance Rate

Publishers who maintain a high acceptance rate for incoming content requests will receive a credit multiplier on their earnings. This rewards publishers who actively participate in the Network and contribute to a healthy, responsive ecosystem:

• Acceptance rate above 80%: 1.1x multiplier on all credits earned from publishing.
• Acceptance rate above 90%: 1.25x multiplier on all credits earned from publishing.
• Acceptance rate of 95% or higher: 1.5x multiplier on all credits earned from publishing.

The multiplier is applied automatically and is recalculated at the beginning of each month based on your acceptance rate over the previous 90 days.

Spending Credits

Credits are spent when you request guest post placements on other sites within the Network. The cost of a placement is determined by the target site's quality tier:

Credits are deducted from your balance only after the publisher approves your request and publishes the article. If your request is rejected or expires, no credits are deducted. This ensures you never lose credits on unsuccessful placement attempts.

Monthly Plan Bonuses

In addition to credits earned through Network activity, Rankfender provides monthly bonus credits based on your subscription plan. These bonuses are automatically added to your credit balance on the first day of each billing cycle:

Monthly bonus credits are added on top of any credits you earn through publishing. They provide a baseline of spending power even if you do not have sites registered as publishers in the Network.

Credit Expiration Policy

Credits earned through the Rankfender Network never expire. Whether you earn credits today or six months from now, they will remain in your balance indefinitely as long as your account is active. This means you can accumulate credits over time and spend them strategically when high-value opportunities arise. If your subscription is downgraded to the Essential plan (which does not include Network access), your credits will be preserved and will become available again if you upgrade back to a qualifying plan.

Active Participant Bonuses

Rankfender will reward consistently active Network participants with additional monthly bonuses. These bonuses are designed to encourage sustained engagement and reward users who contribute the most to the ecosystem:

• 5 or more publications per month: Earn an additional 5 bonus credits.
• 10 or more publications per month: Earn an additional 15 bonus credits.
• 20 or more publications per month: Earn an additional 30 bonus credits.

These bonuses stack with your plan's monthly bonus credits and are calculated at the end of each calendar month based on verified publications.

Credit Balance and Transaction History

Your current credit balance will be prominently displayed in the Backlinks dashboard header, so you always know how many credits you have available. A detailed transaction history will record every credit-related event in your account:

• Credits earned from publishing (with details of the published article and site).
• Credits spent on placements (with details of the target site and content).
• Monthly plan bonus credits received.
• Referral bonus credits earned.
• Active participant bonus credits earned.
• Acceptance rate multiplier adjustments.

The transaction history is filterable by date range, transaction type, and associated site. You can export the full history to CSV for accounting and reporting purposes.

Workspace and Project Rules

Credits belong to your workspace, not to individual projects. This means credits earned from a site registered under one project can be used for placements that benefit a different project within the same workspace. However, credits cannot be transferred between workspaces. If you manage multiple workspaces, each workspace will maintain its own independent credit balance.

For agencies managing client projects across multiple workspaces, this means each client workspace will need to earn or receive its own credits independently. Plan bonus credits are allocated per workspace based on the workspace's subscription plan.

• Register high-DA sites as publishers: If you own sites with strong Domain Authority, registering them in the Network will earn you significantly more credits per publication than lower-tier sites.
• Maintain a high acceptance rate: The acceptance rate multiplier can boost your earnings by up to 50%, making a meaningful difference over time.
• Refer quality publishers: Bringing in new publishers expands the network and earns you referral bonuses. Focus on referring sites that are likely to be approved.
• Accumulate for high-value placements: Since credits never expire, consider saving up for Platinum-tier placements that deliver the highest SEO value.
• Stay active to unlock bonuses: The active participant bonuses reward consistency, so aim for regular publishing activity each month.
